DreamClass is solving a major structural challenge for us: we needed a platform that could support an education-based program that does not function like a traditional school. In the past, we used event-based platforms, but they struggled to meet the needs of our week-long music education event. Our programming is structured around classes, lessons, schedules, students, faculty, and communications, so we needed something more education-focused while still flexible enough to support a conference-style experience. DreamClass gives us a framework that fits much more naturally. It allows us to manage student schedules, courses, lessons, faculty assignments, and communications in one place, rather than piecing those functions together across systems that were not built for this kind of program. It is also benefiting us from a data management perspective. Managing this kind of program involves a huge amount of information, and DreamClass makes that information easier to organize, update, and carry forward. While there is a lot of work involved in the initial setup, the ability to roll over a school period from one year to the next will save significant time in future years. The cost is also a major benefit. Compared to other platforms we have explored or used, DreamClass gives us strong functionality at a price point that makes sense for our organization. Overall, DreamClass is helping us move away from workaround-heavy systems and toward a more centralized, sustainable structure. Our team is already seeing potential uses for the platform beyond this one program, which speaks to how helpful it could be across the organization.

PROS: DreamClass has been incredibly responsive and willing to adapt its framework to meet the needs of our specific program. We have a unique use case: I run an annual week-long event that is structured like a music school, but with programming that functions more like a conference. Because of that, we needed an education-first platform rather than a traditional event or conference platform, which has not fully met our needs in the past. What I appreciate most is that the DreamClass team took the time to understand our structure and work with us on features that are essential to our program. For example, our students are not being graded or formally evaluated; they are attending to learn, participate, and engage. Because of that, we needed students to be able to enter and drop classes without requiring admin approval. This is a feature that is often present in event/conference platforms, but is a rarity among education systems. DreamClass spent a significant amount of time developing and refining that functionality for us, and being able to have this feature alongside all the other amazing capabilities of the platform has been a huge improvement for our workflow overall. Beyond that flexibility, the platform itself is much more user-friendly than other systems we have used, especially from the teacher and scheduling perspective. The ability to manage courses, class schedules, lessons within classes, and communications all in one place is going to make a major difference for our event. I also really appreciate the communications feature, which makes it easy to send targeted messages to different courses or groups of students. Overall, what I like best about DreamClass is that it combines strong education-focused functionality with a team that is genuinely willing to listen, problem-solve, and help shape the platform around the needs of the client. Not to mention - it's super affordable, especially compared to pricing for event/conference based platforms.
CONS: The only real downsides we have experienced so far are on the administrative side. There are some areas where setup and updates require more manual input than would be ideal. For example, if you create recurring lessons within a class and later need to update something, there is not currently a way to bulk update the whole set. You have to go into each individual lesson to make the change. There are a few similar examples where the platform requires a lot of manual entry during setup, such as entering classes or making detailed schedule adjustments. Once everything is entered, the system works really well, and these limitations do not negatively impact the student or teacher experience in a major way. They are more administrative workflow challenges on the back end. That said, these concerns feel very manageable because of the relationship we have developed with the DreamClass team. They have been incredibly willing to listen, problem-solve, and accommodate the needs of our program. Because of that, I feel confident that the platform, and the way we use it, will continue to grow alongside us and our programming.

Great and some Learning curve to use its functionalities and designed features to support my own use cases

PROS: Dreamclass allow me to issue different type of invoices such as monthly or lump sum based on parent choice.
CONS: Not really dislike - but the biggest adjustment has been communication via email. That has been the biggest complaint from our families. I know there is a texting feature, but we communicate a lot and it just isn't in our budget.

DreamClass is something big for us. The software is an all-rounder where school admin, teachers, and parents can seamlessly collaborate with each other. The tool is excellent, especially for managing classes, schedules, and invoices to parents. The invoice tracking (automatic if we choose card payments) and bulk notification features are game changers for us. The automatic tracking of teaching staff hours is incredibly useful – the number of hours and payment details are automatically calculated by DreamClass, saving us significant time and effort. What I appreciate most is that DreamClass keeps constantly improving and releasing new features, which shows their commitment to staying current with school management needs.

CONS: Nothing significant stands out as a drawback. We're genuinely satisfied with the software and haven't encountered any major issues during our use. Dreamclass customer support and Lids is very supporting and listens to you , to improve the features continously.

Extremely pleasant and easy. We have had two teacher onboarding meetings and all my team responded really positively.

PROS: I love the user interface and ease of functionality. The value for the cost of the product is great. I think the best part is the customer onboarding process and support you receive as a new customer. Lida has been absolutely amazing!
CONS: There is not much I do not like about DreamClass. We are still getting familiar with the product but if there is something missing Lida always asks if there are ways to make improvements that would help our school.

Overall, my experience has been awesome! Anytime I have had any issues, customer support has been super helpful! They have such a quick response time, despite the time difference in our two areas. In the beginning, we had a few hiccups with forms and attendance, but support has been very quick to respond via email or zoom to get the issues resolved! No question is too big or small for them! The support team also reaches out periodically to check in and make sure everything is still running smooth on our end.

PROS: DreamClass is user friendly! I like the gradebook section best. It was very easy for my team to adjust to that part of the system!

My overall experience with DreamClass has been positive! Their support and services exceed expectations.

PROS: The features are user friendly and easy to learn. The design of the app is intuitive, making it an efficient system in organizing a large amount of student information.
CONS: I would like to see more customization options with the scheduling feature, however my experience with the DreamClass support team is that they are very open to feedback and have provided changes within the program to meet our unique needs.
