SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the SMS notification service made available through the DreamClass platform to the schools that use it and to the parents, guardians, students, and staff of those schools (“you”).

1. Program description. When you opt in, you may receive SMS notifications from your School relating to school activity — for example attendance alerts, grade updates, school announcements, and other school-related communications. Messages are sent by your School through the DreamClass platform, which uses Twilio as its messaging provider.

2. Opt-in / consent. You opt in by logging into your School’s portal, adding your mobile number in your profile, and actively checking the SMS consent box (unchecked by default). You will not receive SMS messages unless you provide this explicit consent. Consent is not required as a condition of using the platform or of any purchase.

3. Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your School’s activity.

4. Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. DreamClass and your School do not charge you for sending or receiving these messages.

5. Opt-out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any message you receive: STOP, STOPALL, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE. After you send one of these, you will receive a confirmation and no further messages, unless you opt in again.

6. Help. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact your School directly. For platform-level questions, contact support@dreamclass.io.

7. Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy. Information you provide for this service is handled in accordance with the DreamClass Privacy Policy: https://www.dreamclass.io/privacy-policy/. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

9. Changes. We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change.
